Kogi Govt Appoints Chief Sunday Adewumi Ologe as new Olu of Ayetoro Gbede

Kogi State Government has approved the appointment of Chief Sunday Adewumi Ologe as the new Olu of Ayetoro Gbede in Ijumu Local Government Area.

 

Presenting a letter of appointment to the New King, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Pastor Eniola Enimola conveyed the felicitation of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the Commissioner in charge of the Ministry to Oba Ologe.

Pastor Enimola urged him to see the appointment as a call to duty and promote peaceful coexistence among the people of Ayetoro Gbede.

 

He pointed out that all complaints by the aggrieved person were addressed accordingly as the appointment followed due process.

 

Response, the new Olu of Ayetoro Gbede, Oba Sunday Adewumi Ologe expressed gratitude to the State Government on his appointment, promising to leave above board.

 

Oba Ologe thanked the people of the Community, Ijumu and Okun Traditional Council for the confidence reposed in him, assuring of his commitment to carrying everyone along in the scheme of things.
