As the world celebrates Children’s Day, the wife of the Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Hajia Hafsat Yomi Haruna, has sent a heartfelt message to all children in Ijumu and beyond, recognizing their immense value and potential.

In her words, “Children are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are the joy and light of today. We must nurture, protect, and invest in them, because they are our greatest treasure and the most rewarding investment any society can make.”

She emphasized the need for quality education, moral upbringing, and a safe environment for every child to thrive, urging parents, leaders, and communities to commit more intentionally to their growth and development.

To the children, she said: “Keep dreaming, keep learning, and never stop believing in yourselves. You are deeply loved, and your future is bright.”
