The new executive secretary, Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria, ARCN, Dr Abubakar Adamu Dabban has called for consolidated effort of management and staff of the council as well as stakeholders in taking the research space forward.
Dr Dabban made the call at the handing and taking over ceremony at the ARCN complex in Abuja Monday.
The new ARCN boss warned those who are sycophants to stay off, while charging the staff to do their job efficiently and effectively.
He affirm that his resumption is to add and consolidate the achievements of the council and not witch hunt or probe anyone. He said in line with present Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he’s staying willing to advance food production.
He said, “This is a new ARCN and new hope for Nigeria’s Food Security.”
Speaking earlier, the former acting Executive Secretary pledged strong support to the new Executive Secretary. He promised to help the Executive secretary achieve the renewed hope agenda of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Dr Shuaibu Madugu, Director Planning Research and Statistics, ARCN, on behalf of the management and staff appreciates the immediate past acting Executive Secretary.
He pledge support of staff, while urging the new Executive Secretary to stand by his pledge of not listening to sycophants but look at staff who are doing the job.
