Kogi NVMA Passes Vote of Confidence to L-PRES State Coordinator

The Kogi State Chapter of Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA) has passed a vote of confidence on the State Project Coordinator of Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Mr Otaru Abdulkabir Onoruoyiza.

 

The Association made the position known during a courtesy visit to the Office of the State Project Coordinator in Lokoja.

 

The Chairman of NVMA, Dr. Omotugba Tolu Samuel noted that the appointment of Mr. Otaru is well deserved and a step in the right direction.

According to him, in the last six months in office, the SPC has proven that he has the capacity and wealth of experience to implement the Project 100% for the benefit of livestock farmers.

 

He said the Leadership and members of the Association are satisfied with the activities of the Project especially after Mr. Otaru took over as State Project Coordinator, saying they are proud of him.

 

“The Executives and the entire members of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA), Kogi State Chapter, hereby wish to pass a vote of confidence in your ability and capacity to pilot the affairs of the Kogi State L-PRES project to the desired clime.

 

He added that the SPC has rekindled the hope of the people in the Project with the manner he has been piloting the affairs of the Agency.

 

Dr. Omotugba pledged the continued commitment and support of the Association to the Project where necessary, urging Mr. Otaru to continue to justify the confidence reposed in him.

 

“This has become necessary for our noble Profession and Association, haven professionally assessed the short time you have spent, the achievements recorded so far and the renewed public trust in the project following your assumption of office.

 

“As a stakeholder in this project, the Kogi State chapter of The NVMA will always be ready to offer the needed professional advise, support and otherwise to ensure the success of the project in the State.

 

Responding, the SPC expressed delight with the position of the Association, adding that his office is open for positive collaboration in driving the project forward.
