The Iyamoye Development Union has fixed November 15 as the date for this year’s Iyamoye Day celebration and has put together a Steering Committee to ensure a seamless and successful celebration
In a statement shared with the media, Elder Joel Olorunmaiye, the National Secretary of the union, expressed, “The National body of the Iyamoye Development Union (IDU), under the dedicated leadership of our President, Alh Abubakar Adeyemi Shittu, is excited to announce that November 15 has been designated for IYAMOYE DAY, 2025. We are also pleased to introduce the Steering Committee and various sub-committees that will help make this event a success.”
Here’s a look at the main Organizing Committee members:
1. Dr. Adefisayo Tajudeen Aminu – Chairman
2. Alhaji Sheriff Bello – Co-Chairman
3. Hon. Musa Olumayowa Yakubu – Member
4. Barr. Halima Yusuf – Member
5. Mal. Muritala Salami – Member
6. Mal. Jelili Shittu – Member
7. Olorunmaiye Joel – Head of Administration
And the Sub-Committee Members include:
a) Secretariat Committee: National Secretary General (Head of Administration) and National Executive Committee Members
b) Media and Publicity Committee: Hon. Musa Olumayowa Yakubu (Chairman)
c) Finance Committee: Alhaji Sheriff Abdulkadir (Chairman)
d) Venue and Entertainment Committee: Barr. Halima Yusuf (Chairperson)
e) Security Committee: Muritala Salami (Chairman)
f) Cultural Committee: Olorunmaiye Joel (Chairman)
g) Mobilization Committee: Alhaji Sheriff Bello (Chairman)
