Iyara Community, headquarters of Ijumu Local Government Area has saluted Kogi State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd) as he clocks 62 years.
Commander Omodara was the Chairman of the 2025 Iyara Cultural Day, an event that celebrates the rich Cultural Heritage of Iyara Community, who donated handsomely to the event and development of the community.

National President of Iyara Development Association (IDA), Dr. Aliyu Badaki in a statement congratulated the Security Adviser on his 62nd year milestone on earth, appreciating his resilience, dedication and commitment to the safety of lives and property.
He described him as a pride to Okun land in the immediate past administration in the State as well as the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, providing the technical support to fight insecurity.
The IDA National President extended the warm greetings of Iyara people to the Security Adviser, praying for God’s protection, wisdom and blessings as he carry out his duty.
