Kidnappers Involved in Accident After Collecting Ransom in Nasarawa

Suspected kidnappers who had just collected ransom were on Monday morning involved in a motor accident at Angwan Mayo, Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

According to eyewitnesses, the criminals were attempting to flee the area after securing the ransom when their vehicle crashed. Security operatives, including Nigerian soldiers and police officers, swiftly moved to the scene and took control of the situation.

Residents of Kokona praised the prompt response of the security agencies, noting that it prevented the suspects from escaping further.

Authorities are yet to disclose details regarding arrests or the condition of the victims.
