The Lawmaker representing Yagba Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Elder Leke Abejide has donated #20,000,000 for the completion of the palace of Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom.
National President of Ijumu Development Union (IDU), Comrade Ahmed-Ade Fatai confirmed this in a statement made available to Journalists in Lokoja on Tuesday in Lokoja.
The statement reads “On behalf of the Ijumu Traditional Council, the Ijumu Development Union, and the entire sons and daughters of ljumu Kingdom, I write to express our heartfelt appreciation for your generous contribution to the Ijumu Cultural Festival.”
“Your support came at a most important time and greatly enhanced the success, beauty, and impact of the event. Your commitment to the cultural development and unity of our people is truly commendable. Indeed, your continuous investment in the progress of Ijumu Kingdom stands as a shining example of leadership, patriotism, and love for your people.
He further stated that “We deeply appreciate your kindness, your goodwill, and youn unwavering belief in the growth and heritage of our land. Your contribution did not only support the event, it strengthened the bond that holds our communities together.”
“We assure you that the purpose for which the N20,000,000 (Twenty Million Naira) donation is given will not deviate in any form, and it will be applied strictly and faithfully to its intended use.
“Our prayers for you, sir, are that God Almighty will continue to lift you higher, grant you abundant wisdom, guide your political journey, and reward you richly for every seed of goodness you have sown in Ijumu and beyond. May divine favour never depart from you, and may your path continue to shine brighter with each passing day.
