Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the Nations’ Green Chamber has debunked reports on alleged one-term agreement in Kogi State.

Hon. Faleke in a statement urged the Public to disregard the report as it is false.

I wish to categorically refute a report published by TrackNews, an online news medium, alleging that the Presidency directed His Excellencies, former Governor Yahaya Bello and Governor Usman Ododo, to honour a purported one-term agreement in Kogi State, in which I was allegedly involved.

“For the avoidance of doubt, I state unequivocally that I never had any discussion, nor was I privy to any conversation, arrangement, or agreement regarding a one-term deal in Kogi State or any related matter. At no point in time was I a party to such an agreement, whether directly or indirectly,” he added.

Following the publication of this report, I have been inundated with numerous calls and text messages seeking clarification. I therefore find it necessary to state clearly and firmly that the report is entirely false, misleading, and without any factual basis. The story is a fabrication and should be disregarded in its entirety.
