The member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon. Salman Idris has congratulated Dr. Funsho Olumoko and Hon. Olabode Adeyemi on their appointments as Renewed Hope Ambassadors for Ijumu and Kabba-Bunu Local Government Areas respectively.
In a statement issued by his media office, Hon. Idris described the appointments as well-deserved, noting that both men possess the competence, experience and political capacity required to effectively lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign structures in their respective local governments.
He praised Dr. Olumoko for his track record of leadership and service, highlighting his tenure as a two-term former Caretaker Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area and his current role as the Pro-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Pankshin. According to him, Olumoko’s wealth of administrative and political experience will greatly strengthen the party’s grassroots mobilization efforts.
Hon. Idris also commended Hon. Olabode Adeyemi, a Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor, describing him as a loyal party man with a deep understanding of grassroots politics.
The federal lawmaker expressed confidence that both appointees will justify the trust reposed in them by the party leadership.
He further pledged to work closely with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to ensure victory for the APC in all forthcoming elections across the constituency.
