Kogi Varsity Expels 8 Students Over Examination Misconduct

The Management of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Kogi State, has approved the expulsion of eight students for their involvement in examination malpractice.

 

The decision was taken by the University Senate at its 30th Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, 29th April, 2026, in line with the institution’s academic policies as contained in the Student Handbook (Page 33, Item 19).

 

According to a letter signed by the Deputy Registrar (Academics), Mr. Eli Gbadufu, the affected students were found guilty of examination misconduct during the First Semester examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session. He noted that the students were duly investigated by the Examination Misconduct Committee before the Senate ratified the decision.

 

The expelled students are:

The University Management reiterated its zero tolerance for examination malpractice and urged all students to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity.
