The Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Hon. Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim, has extended his warm felicitation to all Muslim faithfuls across the Local Government Area on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

The Chairman urges the Muslim Ummah to continue to uphold the values of sacrifice, peace, tolerance, love, and unity which the holy festival represents.

He further encourages all residents to use the period to pray for sustained peace, progress, and development in Ijumu Local Government Area, Kogi State, and Nigeria at large.

Hon. Haruna Ibrahim wishes to reassure the people of Ijumu that his administration remains fully committed to the protection of lives and property across the Local Government Area.

Through sustained collaboration with security agencies, community leaders, and local vigilante structures, significant progress has been made in strengthening security surveillance around and within the border communities of the Local Government.

The Chairman therefore assures residents and visitors alike that adequate security measures have been put in place to guarantee a peaceful, safe, and hitch-free celebration throughout the Salah period.

He urges citizens to remain vigilant, law-abiding, and cooperative with security personnel as they go about their lawful activities and celebrations.

While wishing all Muslim faithfuls a joyful and fulfilling Salah celebration, the Chairman prays that the blessings of the season bring peace, prosperity, and renewed hope to every home.
