Hon. Funsho Olumoko, FCIM, founder of the Ogidi Omo Movement and Pro-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Pankshin, joined High Chief Shuaib Ipinmisho, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Land Matters, at his country home in Ogidi, Ijumu Local Government Area, Kogi State, to celebrate Sallah.
Also present were several prominent Okun political leaders, including Barr. Alfred Bello, Director General of the Okun League of Progressive Elites for Tinubu and Ododo Continuity (OLOPE4TOC); Hon. Egbebi Kayode, SSA to the Governor on Culture; Comrade Dele Olowonawu; and other dignitaries.

Olumoko was accompanied by Dr. Helen Aderibigbe Adeniyi, Kogi State Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology; Hon. Ibikunle Alexandra Ropo, SSA on Produce Monitoring; Hon. Segun Abereoran, SSA to the Governor on Public Relations; and other guests.
In his goodwill message, Olumoko praised Ipinmisho for his steadfast political commitment and consistency. He urged the large gathering at the host’s residence to continue supporting Ipinmisho’s vision, expressing optimism that their loyalty would soon yield tangible benefits.
Dr. Olumoko Donates Bags of Rice, Cash to Ogidi-Omo Movement
Olumoko also announced the inauguration of the Gbede branch of the Ogidi Omo Movement and revealed that the Ijumu Oke unit would be inaugurated shortly.
Before leaving Ogidi, Olumoko and his entourage paid homage to the Ologidi of Ogidi, His Majesty Oba Rabiu Oladimeji Sule. At the palace, he congratulated the monarch and acknowledged his continued support for Governor Ododo’s administration.
Dr. Adeniyi reassured the Ologidi that the Ogidi road project remained a priority for the state government and promised that the contractor would be mobilized to site soon.
Olumoko further pledged that he and the Ogidi Omo Movement would join the Ologidi and the people of Ogidi Kingdom in celebrating Ogidi Day Festival this June.
