The Akanmode Dynasty has celebrated its family icon, the Oloriebi of Akanmode Dynasty and Asiwaju of Aiyetoro Gbede, Prince Olusola Akanmode, on his birthday, describing him as a community leader, political leader and opinion leader whose life has spanned over seven decades of impactful service.
In a statement issued by the family to mark the occasion, the dynasty said it returned all honour, glory and adoration to God for sparing Prince Akanmode’s life to witness the milestone, noting that his life had been one of honour, sacrifice, commitment and impact.
The family said the celebrant had, over the years, deployed his talent and resources towards individual and community development both in and out of public office, and had also committed his resources to the pursuit of good governance and equity.
“Today we are not just celebrating you as a person but we are celebrating honour, sacrifice, commitment and impact,” the family said, adding that his contributions to society would continue to be remembered.
Joined by family members, friends and well-wishers in celebrating him, the dynasty prayed for Prince Akanmode to enjoy long life in good health and soundness of mind, and declared that he would not lose his reward.
The family rounded off the tribute with a congratulatory message to the celebrant on the occasion of his birthday.
