The calendar, approved by the University Senate at its 32nd Meeting held on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2026, outlines the academic activities for both the first and second semesters of the session.

According to the calendar issued by the Office of the Registrar, the first semester will commence on Monday, September 28th, 2026, while online course registration, revalidation, screening and documentation of fresh students, as well as programme/inter-departmental transfers, will take place during the opening weeks of the semester.

The University has fixed October 31st, 2026, as the deadline for regular registration, after which students who fail to complete their registration will be required to undertake late registration from November 1st to November 10th, 2026, with a late-registration charge of ₦10,000 only.

The calendar further indicates that the Matriculation Ceremony for the 2026/2027 academic session is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11th, 2026, while lectures for the first semester will run through December 18th, 2026.

The first semester is expected to end with examinations scheduled for Monday, January 25th to Saturday, February 6th, 2027, followed by a semester break.

The second semester will commence on Monday, February 22nd, 2027, with lectures, continuous assessment, revision and examinations scheduled to run until the end of the semester on Saturday, June 19th, 2027.

The University also scheduled SIWES/SWEP activities from Monday, June 21st to Friday, September 10th, 2027, marking the post-second-semester practical/work experience period for students concerned.

The Registrar, Mrs. Glory Ojochogu Yakubu, urged all Faculties, Departments and Units to take note of the approved calendar and be guided accordingly.

CUSTECH management therefore advises all students, particularly returning and newly admitted students, to complete their registration within the stipulated period and avoid the additional ₦10,000 late-registration charge.
