Hon. Kunle Ola, SSA on Grassroots Mobilization to the Governor of Kogi State, has expressed profound appreciation to the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for approving the rehabilitation of the long-awaited Lawiri Bridge in Odo-Ere, Yagba West Local Government Area.
According to Hon. Kunle Ola, the approval is another clear demonstration of Governor Ododo’s commitment to addressing critical infrastructure needs across the state and improving the lives of citizens at the grassroots. He noted that the rehabilitation of the bridge will bring much needed relief to residents, farmers, traders, motorists and other road users who have endured difficulties as a result of the bridge’s condition over the years.
He described the Governor’s intervention as timely and impactful, adding that the people of Odo-Ere and the entire Yagba West community are grateful for the attention given to their longstanding concern.
Hon. Kunle Ola also specially commended the Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management, Engr. Joseph Olusegun, for his dedication and strategic role in facilitating the approval. He acknowledged the Commissioner’s commitment to ensuring that ecological and infrastructural challenges affecting communities receive the attention they deserve.
“Your Excellency, this approval once again reflects your listening leadership and your determination to extend the dividends of governance to every part of Kogi State. The people are grateful and we remain confident in your vision for a greater Kogi,” he stated.
