Thousands of youths from Okunland under the aegis of Okun Youth Stakeholders Forum have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for second term, promising massive votes in the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement rally held at Igbo Hall, Kabba, headquarters of Okun Nation in Kabba-Bunu LGA, witnessed large turnout of youths and stakeholders from the five Local Government Areas that make up Okunland.

The event started with a colourful procession through major streets of Kabba, as the youths marched in solidarity singing “On Your Mandate We Shall Stand” in support of both leaders.

At Igbo Hall, youth leaders and representatives from different LGAs commended Tinubu and Ododo for their performance in office, saying their achievements are enough reason to support their re-election.

They urged Okun youths to remain united, politically conscious and actively involved in the democratic process, noting that 2027 offers an opportunity to consolidate gains of the current administrations.

The forum said its endorsement was informed by assessment of leadership and performance of President Tinubu at the federal level and Governor Ododo in Kogi State, adding that continuity will deepen development.

They also called for greater youth inclusion in governance, employment, skills acquisition and education, pledging to mobilise grassroots support for both leaders across communities, wards and polling units in Okunland.

The rally ended with calls for unity and sustained support for the Tinubu and Ododo administrations ahead of 2027.
