The Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim (DSTV), has dissolved his cabinet following the expiration of tenure of his team members.
Alhaji Haruna announced the dissolution after his re-election for a second term in office.
He expressed profound appreciation to all members of his cabinet for their dedication, loyalty, cooperation and invaluable contributions throughout his first term.
According to him, the collective efforts and commitment of his team played significant role in the successes recorded by his administration.
Those affected by the dissolution include the Local Government Secretary, all Supervisory Councillors, Special Advisers, Senior Special Advisers, Elders Advisory Council, as well as all Committees and Sub-committees.
The Chairman also thanked his team members for their support, mobilisation and belief in his leadership during the recently concluded election which led to his re-election.
He described their service as a valuable contribution to the progress of Ijumu Local Government, noting that the dissolution brings their current appointments to an end following expiration of tenure.
