Speaker of the Kogi state House of Assembly, Mathew Kolawole says the Assembly was not in disarray.
The Speaker disclosed this while responding to questions during the NUJ Media Parley for National Assembly Aspirants at the Press Centre, Lokoja.
According to him, the Assembly is on break to allow for members who are vying for various positions in the state to concentrate on arrangements for their primary election.
The Speaker pointed out that he enjoyed the full support of principal officers as well as other members of the Kogi state House of Assembly and that there was no crises whatsoever among them.
He said the rumour of the purported House under lock and key was untrue and the handiwork of mischief makers.
The Speaker who is aspiring to represent Kabba Bunu/Ijumu at the House of Representatives under the APC emphasised that legislative business was all about lobbying and promised to influence more projects to the constituency.
Kolawole highlighted some of his achievements in the area of empowerment, health, scholarship for indegent students, sports development, and security.
