Nigeria is said to be in need of men well equipped by God to stand and bring the earth to its original focus as the world is out of control of mankind.
A Guest Speaker at the United Missionary Church of Africa UMCA, Evangelist Theophilus Audu stated this in Bida at the thanksgiving service to mark the end of the 2022 men’s conference of the Church.
Evangelist Audu, said Nigerians must learn how to co-exist and not to take laws into their hands, adding that there are a lots of benefits when Nigerians lived together in peace.
Earlier the vicar in charge of UMCA Bida, Rev’d. Isaac Saba-Muwo, use the conference to call on Nigerians to ensure they participate in the forth-coming general elections by collecting their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) in order to vote in the right candidate.
Rev’d. Saba-Muwo, urged Nigerians, especially the youth to shun all forms of violence for and selfish interest but to engage meaningfully in all electoral process.
Also speaking at the ninth men’s conference, was the president Minna district men fellowship, Samuel Yisa Alira, said men must represent Christ in all they do.
As for the host and president of men fellowship UMCA Bida chapter, Joshua Sokomba, men need to be prayerful in all ramifications so as to be an ambassador for Christ.
Some participant said this year’s men conference has increased level of understanding towards handling certain issues in life and pledged to put them into practice to the development of the state and the country in general.
The theme for this year’s men conference is “Ambassador for Christ.”
