Okoro Gbede Community in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State has expressed appreciation to the member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke for donating 7 Solar Street Lights to the Community.

A statement by Chief Pedro Durotiwon, National President of Okoro Gbede Development Association (ODA), said the gesture of the Federal Lawmaker is a timely intervention, which is coming at the time that the country is battling with security challenges and epileptic power supply.

The Statement reads “Okoro Gbede Community is happy to announce the supply of 7 Solar powered street lights from Hon. Chief James Abiodun Faleke, member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber. On behalf of the people of Okoro Gbede land, we express our profound gratitude to Hon. Faleke for remembering our Community in his philanthropic gesture.

We do not take this for granted as a Community, this will further provide illumination in the Community especially at night by exposing those using darkness to perpetrate their nefarious activities.

According to Chief Durotiwon, “the Community is happy and grateful for the gesture and prayed to reward and grant him the grace to do more for God and humanity.

While urging other Okun Politicians to emulate the outstanding and seasoned Lawmaker, the ODA National President prayed God to reward him to do more for the generality of Okun people.
