We, the former National Youth Movement of the PDP, proudly reaffirm our strategic and resolute decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the APC National Youth Movement, Kogi State Chapter. This transition was not made lightly but as a bold step toward aligning with a progressive vision for our state and nation. We were formally received into the APC by the visionary former Governor of Kogi State and our esteemed leader, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, at his Abuja residence. During this pivotal meeting, our collective resolve to contribute to the party’s success was met with immediate action: key aspects of our proposals were approved, and I was honored to be appointed as a Special Assistant (SA) within his cabinet—a testament to the trust and confidence reposed in our movement.
*Proven Dedication to the APC Cause*
Following our induction, we hit the ground running. Leveraging my grassroots networks, political expertise, and unrelenting energy, I also played an instrumental role in securing the landmark victory of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as Governor of Kogi State in Ijumu LG. Our commitment was not passive; it was a relentless, boots-on-the-ground campaign driven by strategic mobilization, voter education, and unwavering advocacy for the APC’s transformative agenda. I am not a mere spectator in the party but accredited stakeholder who makes decisions, stand by them, and deliver results.
*A Track Record of Political Excellence*
To those questioning my capacity or loyalty, I urge reflection on our proven credentials. I am not a novice in the political arena. My journey includes:
– *Contesting for Ijumu Local Government Chairmanship* under the PDP, where I was duly cleared and endorsed as a candidate, recognized for my dynamism, leadership, and dedication to public service.
– *Serving as Secretary of the PDP in Ogale/Aduge Ward*, where I honed my organizational skills and deepened my understanding of grassroots governance.
– *Appointment as a Transformation Ambassador* under the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan, a role that sharpened my commitment to national development and policy-driven progress.
These milestones underscore a career built on principle, service, and results. I have paid my dues not just in rhetoric, but in action and continue to invest my energy, intellect, and resources into the APC’s mission. My goal is clear: to drive collective success that uplifts every member of our movement and the people of Kogi State.

My defection to the APC was a strategic realignment with a party that prioritizes youth inclusion, good governance, and tangible development. Under the leadership of Alhaji Yahaya adoza Bello, I witnessed firsthand the APC’s commitment to empowering young leaders and fostering unity. My decision to join the APC was rooted in conviction, not convenience—and my contributions since then have validated this choice.

To skeptics and critics alike: I am not here to merely occupy space. I am high-value asset with the vision, experience, and tenacity to elevate the APC’s impact. Our loyalty is unwavering, our capacity undeniable, and our resolve unshakable.
