The House of Representatives member for Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide has blasted those behind the faceless group, Coalition of Yagba Youths for Accountability; whom in a recent article described Abejide’s laudable gesture of WAEC payment to indigents students as waste of time and resources.
The group had in an article published on Tuesday accused the Reps Member who has recieved accolade far and near for the educational gesture as playing to the gallery.
Without a name penned to the group, they had specifically said the extension of the much sought after gestures to other areas of Okunland such as Kabba, Bunu, and Ijumu axis as wastage.

The Federal Lawmaker on Friday through a statement from his media handler described the group comment as “a message from a moron.”
He said “The payment of WAEC fees which he started long before he contested should not be clouded by political colour, has he had never selected only children of his party members to enjoyed the largess; wonder when extension of a good gesture to other areas suddenly become a problem.
“We don’t know the group but bearing a name of Yagba in their title is quite unfortunate. It is unfortunate that we still have moron in Yagba land. It is obvious that those who put up the write up were missing a few IQ points.”
“Their comments criticizing what many people across the state and country were praying that their own leaders emulate, reflects how low a people they are.
“As their representative, Hon. Leke Abejide has not only justified the mandate Yagba people gave to him but, he has raised the bar of representative so much that electorates from other part of the state wished Hon. Leke was their representative at the green chamber.
“We call on all Yagba indegens who are turely free born, to renounce the “group of garbage” and reject the content of the group. The group and those using them are the true adversary of Yagba land who at every chances attacked those who will develop the constituency.
We are not unaware that some politicians who had occupied leadership positions in the past but failed woefully, and currently in search of rehabilitation were behind the said article.
“It’s unthinkable to any reasonable person for such statement to be make. Every normal Yagba person will fall ill at the thought of such statement let alone speaking it out.
“But, of course, we can’t rule out some judases who speaks, talks and acts like moron. Their latest antics wasn’t an exception.”

Honourable Leke has been helping student in yagba to finished their secondary Education as many students dropped out mostly at ss3 in the past years because their parents can’t afford paying for waec registration.but since honourable Leke come up with assistance yagba people have relieved.every student who wish to write waec are no more hinder because of finance.we are grateful to you sir for your concern in yagba and in other part of okun land you are extending to.
