Adeyanju, Kilani Canvass Support for Tinubu, Welcomes PDP Decampees in Kogi

The Secretary, North Central Support group coordination of the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council, Tosin Adeyanju and member representing Ijumu in Kogi state house of Assembly, Hon. Kilani Olumo organized “Ijumu unite” stakeholders meeting for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The meeting, held at Ayere Ijumu Local Government Area, had in attendance members of the State Campaign Council, party’s all 15 ward’s chairmen in Ijumu local government, chieftains and members of the party.

In his address, Tosin Adeyanju thanked the people of Ijumu Oke people for their show of love and support.

He charged them to go from house to house to sell Tinubu/Shettima to the people.

He said, “Its been an honour to be here in your midst. The campaign has started in earnest. Let’s start House to house campaign to tell everyone that we have started.

I urge you all to come together, forget your differences and let us become a strong broom that can not be broken by enemies.

Let us show to them that our candidate is the right candidate to vote come 2023.

He formally received decampees including former women leaders and youth leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in their hundreds.

Adeyanju assured the decampees of equal status and rights like every other member of the party.

“In APC, there is no discrimination, those that joined today are equal in status as those who joined when the party was formed.

“We are one and a united family,” he said, and advised the electorates to vote for the presidential candidate of APC in the 2023 elections.

In his remarks, the member representing Ijumu Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Kilani Olumo, acknowledged and hailed supporters of Tinubu/Shettima across the local government for their massive turn out at the stakeholders meeting in support of Tinubu/Shettima towards the forthcoming general elections.

Kilani stressed that the success of the meeting was a clear statement and demonstration of the preference of the party’s teeming supporters as regards the choices before them.
