The Agbana of Isanlu and Chairman of Yagba East Local Government Traditional Council, HRM. Oba Dr. Moses Babatunde Etombi has felicitated with Christians in the Area, Kogi State and Nigeria on the celebration of Christmas.
Oba Etombi in a congratulatory message also used the occasion to call for Love, peace and unity which are key instruments for development of any responsive and responsible society.
The Yagba East Paramount Ruler explained that Christmas as the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the saviour of the world is a time to reflect on the lessons of the season with the view of imbibing it by all and sundry.
He enjoined Christians and non Christians to use the occasion to share love which is the hallmark of the celebration all over the world.
Oba Etombi stressed the need for sustained prayers for the peace, progress and development of Isanlu, Yagba East and Kogi State in general.
He emphasized the need for the people to be law abiding and obey constituted authorities towards making the nation an egalitarian society, advocating for equity, fairness and justice.
