AGDU Mourns Late Kogi Special Duties Commissioner

The leadership of Aiyegunle Gbede Descendants Union (AGDU)  has expressed rude shock over the death of Hon. Ismail Adesayo Yahaya, immediate past Kogi That Commissioner for Special Duties.

News of his death filtered the air on Monday evening after he was reportedly said to have slumped at a meeting in Lokoja.

The National President of AGDU, Ahmed-Ade Fatai in a statement said “With deep sorrow, we regret to inform you about the passing of our esteemed community leader, Hon. Ismail Adesayo Yahaya, former Honourable Commissioner of Special Duties to His Excellency Yahaya Adoza Bello. His sudden departure has left us in profound sadness.”

“Hon. Ismail was a dedicated and inspiring leader, leaving an indelible mark on our community, Ijumu, and Kogi State. His contributions were invaluable, always extending a helping hand and providing support to those in need.

“His warmth, generosity, and kindness will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We recognize that this news may be challenging to process, and we extend our support to those who are grieving.

“During this time of sorrow, let us join in prayer for his wife, children, and entire family. Our heartfelt thoughts and condolences go out to Hon. Ismail’s family and loved ones.
