Ankpa COE Provost Calls for Prayers, Support for Gov. Ododo at Easter

The Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba wants the people of the State to support the State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo in prayers as Christians mark Easter, the celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Dr. Fashagba in a statement to commemorate Easter said Governor Ododo, the Chief Servant of Kogi State as fondly called meant well for the people of the State, hence the development and good governance provided by his administration so far.

According to the Provost, for the Governor to sustain the current momentum of transformation, he needs the prayers and support of the people.

Dr. Fashagba, who applauded Gov. Ododo for demonstrating exemplary leadership qualities, said Easter represents Love, humility and selflessness.

While congratulating Christians on the celebration of Easter, the Provost charged them to imbibe the lessons of Jesus Christ, who laid his life for the sins of mankind.

 

He however promised to carry out his assignment as Provost of COE Ankpa with the fear of God in humility and service to staff and Students of the College.
