In a renewed commitment to educational advancement and student enrolment, Dr. P.F. Fashagba has launched a student-focused outreach campaign, engaging traditional rulers and key community stakeholders across Kogi East to rally support for youth development initiatives.

As part of the ongoing drive, Dr. Fashagba paid courtesy visits to several traditional leaders, opinion shapers, and local influencers, seeking collaborative efforts to enhance access to quality education, leadership mentoring, and community-based scholarship support for indigent and less privileged students.
Speaking during the visits, at the palaces of their Royal highnesses , the Ejeh Ankpa and Onu Ankpa, respectively Dr. Fashagba noted that “education is a shared responsibility,” and emphasized the vital role traditional institutions and local stakeholders play in shaping the next generation of leaders. “We must come together to build an environment where our students feel supported, motivated, and equipped to excel.”
The Ejeh Ankpa and Onu Ankpa expressed their appreciation for the initiative, commending Dr. Fashagba for his visionary leadership and proactive approach to youth engagement. Many pledged their support for student-oriented programs and promised to mobilize resources within their communities.
The Provost commended the present administration Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his several intervention and continued support for the college which has manifested in the transformation going on in the College.
This outreach is part of a broader vision to bridge gaps between students and the structures that influence their success, ensuring no student is left behind due to lack of access, opportunity, or mentorship.
