As teachers in Kogi State celebrate World Teachers Day, Governorship Candidate of the Action Alliance, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh has congratulated teachers on the celebration.

Otunba Braimoh in a statement he signed and made available to Journalists in Lokoja, the State Capital, said the hardship being faced by teachers will soon be over only if they embrace his development agenda known as STAT Agenda.

According to him, education will be given priority attention in his administration if voted into power.

He described teachers as critical stakeholders in the education sector that need better welfare, saying his wealth creation agenda will care for their well-being.

Otunba Braimoh said he is aware of the sufferings of teachers and people of the State, hence his plan to contest the number one seat in the State.

The Governorship Candidate added that the theme of this year’s celebration “The Teachers We Need For The Education We Want: The Global Imperative To Reverse The Teacher Shortage” is timely and in line with his agenda of salvaging the state education sector from total collapse.
