As Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Adha, a Stalwart of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Comrade Gbenga Oshoke has stressed the need for sacrifice, forgiveness and good deeds.
Comrade Oshoke in a message to mark the Day urged Muslims to key into the lessons of the great Festival.
“On Eid ul Adha, wishing that Allah accepts your good deeds and sacrifices, alleviates your sufferings, and forgives your transgressions.
“May your home be blessed with warmth, your heart with contentment, and your life with prosperity.
“The key lesson attached to Eid-ul-Adha is sacrifice and a virtue that we all need to inculcate into our daily lives.
“I will likely to give special thanks to His Excellency the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for putting a big smile on the lips of kogites and payment of salaries so as workers can celebrate the festival in joyfulness. I pray may God bless him for his Kind gestures and may his administration continue to prosper and bring good fortunes to the people of Kogi state.
