Former Board Member of the Federal Capital Territory Universal Basic Education Board, Amb. Dapo S. Olutekunbi ( MNIIA ), says the the appointment of Prof. Joash Amupitan as Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is well deserved.
Recall that the National Council of State approved the nomination of Prof. Amupitan as the new INEC Chairman as nominated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Amb. Olutekunbi, a United Nations Peace Ambassador in a statement described the appointment as a welcome development and historic for the nation’s Electoral system.

He extended his felicitation to Prof. Amupitan on his merited appointment, describing it as a recognition of the outstanding performance of the Professor of Law.

The Peace Ambassador noted that in view of the track record of integrity of the New INEC Boss, he is confident in his capacity to deliver on the mandate of your new office.
He prayed for a successful and eventful tenure filled with transformation of the nation’s electoral system.
