The candidate of the African Democratic Congress for the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Architect Salman Idris has expressed shock over the demise of a front line PDP leader in Kabba-Bunu local government area, Honourable Joseph Dada who died on Wednesday.
In a statement personally signed by him and made available to the press, the ADC candidate described the demise of the former Executive Chairman of Kabba-Bunu local government area as a rude shock and a bitter reality to accept.
“Honourable Jossy Dada was a great leader, a well respected elder, a patriot, a lover of his people and community whose life was dedicated to the service of his people. I remain a beneficiary of his leadership school of thought and his benevolence . He was my pillar in the course of my political aspirations and it was a rare privilege to benefit from his political tutelage.
I am also using this avenue to announce the immediate suspension of all political activities until further notice” the statement partly read. Arc Salman is bid to commence the tour of Kabba-Bunu local government area on Thursday the 9th of February 2023 but it has now been suspended indefinitely.
