The Lead Consultant of Atolaye Consulting, ESV Joshua Atolaye, has congratulated ESV Abdulwasiu F. Muhammed on his inauguration as the third Chairman of the Association of Estate Agents in Nigeria (AEAN), Kogi State Chapter.
In a felicitation note issued in Lokoja, Atolaye described the inauguration as timely and well-deserved, noting that it reflected the professional competence, integrity and commitment Muhammed had consistently demonstrated in his practice as an estate surveyor and valuer.
He said Muhammed’s emergence as chairman was a testimony to the trust reposed in him by his colleagues in the industry, adding that his track record as a mentor and professional made him eminently suitable for the position.
Atolaye expressed optimism that under Muhammed’s leadership, the Kogi State chapter of AEAN would achieve greater heights in promoting professionalism and compliance with the standards of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) and AEAN, particularly in conveyancing and land use management.
He listed other expectations from the new leadership to include building partnerships with NIESV, government and other stakeholders in the built environment; strengthening members’ capacity-building and welfare programmes; and creating public awareness on professionalism in land use and conveyancing to boost trust in estate surveying and valuation.
According to him, AEAN has a critical role to play in sanitising estate agency practice in Nigeria, expressing confidence that Muhammed’s dynamic leadership would bring transformative ideas to the chapter and the wider real estate industry in the state.
Atolaye pledged the unwavering support of Atolaye Consulting as Muhammed begins his tenure, praying for divine wisdom, good health and insight to guide him in steering the association to greater professional excellence.
