Chief Mrs. Toyin Omole Harps on Peace, Unity at Easter, Urges Christians To Emulate Jesus Christ

The Iya Ewe of Gbede Kingdom, Chief Mrs. Toyin Omole has extended her heartfelt congratulations to Christians in Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu Federal Constituency, Kogi West, Kogi State in particular, and Nigeria in general, on the occasion of the Easter celebration which commemorates Christ’s redemptive sacrifice and His triumph over sin and death.

 

In a Easter messages through her Media Team, Chief Mrs. Omole described the Easter celebration as the cornerstone of the Christian faith, centered on the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the salvation of mankind.

 

She urged Christians to embrace the spirit of Easter with renewed hope, praying for the Holy Spirit to reveal the profound power and mystery of Christ’s resurrection.

 

She commended the strength and dedication of those who observed the Lenten season, encouraging them to uphold the virtues of self-denial, prayer, and reflection, which are essential for spiritual growth and a closer walk with Christ.

 

She also called on all citizens to commit to fervent prayers for leaders, struggling communities, Kogi State and and Nigeria, trusting God for divine renewal, peace, and progress.

 

Chief Mrs. Omole further used the opportunity of her Easter message to seek support for the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, The Executive Governor of Kogi State and urged the people not to do anything that could make him lose focus.

 

While congratulating the Christians for witnessing another Easter, Chief Mrs. Omole urged them to celebrate with the less privileged by showing love to them in a manner Jesus exemplifies.
