The Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba on Tuesday visited Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, in a bid to make the final push to secure affiliation with the Institution.
Dr. Fashagba, who was accompanied by some Management Staff of the College was received by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Marietu Tenuche.

The high-level visit marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to formalize a partnership between KSCOEA and PAAU, aimed at enhancing academic standards, teacher education, and certification in Kogi State.
The Vice-Chancellor of PAAU, Prof. Marietu Tenuche, while receiving the team and personally conducted them on a comprehensive tour of the university’s facilities.
The tour included academic departments, lecture halls, laboratories, and administrative units relevant to the proposed affiliation.
Prof. Tenuche expressed confidence in the viability of the collaboration, reaffirming the university’s commitment to supporting institutions that share its vision for academic excellence and community development.
Speaking during the visit, Dr. Fashagba expressed appreciation for the warm reception and emphasized the strategic importance of the affiliation in strengthening teacher education and promoting higher learning in the State.
The visit is expected to pave the way for final approvals and formalization of the affiliation process, subject to regulatory endorsements.
