The Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba on Tuesday joined other heads of State Owned Tertiary institutions during an interactive session with the State Assembly House Committees on Finance and Economic Planning as well as that of Education.
The meeting which had in attendance, management of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service, was organised ahead of the implementation of the tax law signed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on 1st January, 2026.

The fruitful deliberation saw the Lawmakers announcing plans by the State Assembly to domesticate the revenue laws to usher in a new tax Administration in the State.
The discussion was centered on the Nigerian Tax Administration Act 2025 and Nigeria Tax Act 2025.
Dr. Fashagba commended the Lawmakers for organising the event and for having the interest of the State at heart, assuring of the cooperation of the Management and Staff of the College.
The meeting was attended by heads of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Kogi State University, Kabba, Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja and Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa.
