Provost of Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery Obagede, Mrs. Hannah Abraham alongside some of the Management staff of the College paid a courtesy visit to the Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara.
The Provost while speaking earlier said the visit though long overdue, was to share ideas on how to better improve the development of science education in the state.
Mrs. Abraham commended the effort of the state government in the development of infrastructures in the institution which has given hope for an ideal development of science and technology education in the state.
She noted that the plan for the University to run health related courses was commendable as it will be of greater advantage to the State Health Sector as well as Nigeria at large.
Responding, Vice Chancellor of Confluence University of Science and Technology, Professor Sadiku Salawu emphasised the need for continuous synergy between the university and the College due to their related areas of specialization in medical training.
Professor Salawu, who described the visit as divine and timely, appreciated the Management team for the visit.
He thanked the visiting team for having the interest of the University at heart stating that CUSTECH is growing day by day and owe Governor Yahaya Bello appreciation.
The delegation was conducted round the completed and ongoing projects in the University.
Among the entourage of CONMO were the College Registrar, Mr Reuben Usman,The college Bursar;Mr Timothy Kayode, director of works ;Mr. Awal Yusuf and the Provost Secretary Mr Fache Tobi.
