The Councilor representing Iyamoye/Igbopin Ward in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon Riliwan Olajide Raimi has executed a N1.9m bridge project in his ward.
The Drum Reporters gathered that the bridge, which was financed by the Councilor, commenced over a year ago to ease the transportation of farm produce by farmers to the community.
This will also accelerate development of the community as land in the environments is now opened for development due to unhindered movement.
Speaking at the Commissioning of the Project, the Councillor made it known that the bridge cost him the sum of One Million, Nine Hundred Thousand Naira Only (N1,900,000.00) and surprisingly, this amount was from his personal pocket.
