All is now ready for the celebration of this year’s celebration of Iyah Gbede Day, in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The event with the theme “Sustenance of Our Corporate Existence: A Priceless Sacrifice” will be held on Saturday 14th October 2023 at the Community Town Hall Area at 10 a.m.
The epoch-making event which is the 53rd edition will be chaired by a Philanthropist of repute, Hon. Richard Osaseyi, General Manager, Kogi State Signage and Advertisements Agency while the Yeye Oba of Iyara land, Chief Funmilayo Bodunde is the Chair lady.
According to the National President of Iyah Gbede Development Association (IDA), Dr. Emmanuel Jeminiwa, the Group Managing Director of Capitafied Asset Management Coy, Limited, Barr. Raphael Lewu is the Chief Launcher with Prof. Joash Amupitan as Guest Speaker while HRH. Oba David Tayo Faleke is the Royal Host.
The event will also feature fundraising for community development projects.
