The Chairmanship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC for Dekina Local Government Area in the next Council Polls in Kogi State, Hon. Urah John Ikani has congratulated Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his recent victory at the Supreme Court
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Ikani described the governor’s victory as a prove of the people’s will to the Governor’s developmental strides and achievements since he assumes office.
He said that the decision of the Supreme Court upholding the governor’s election as duly elected was not only a victory for the governor and his party but also a total victory for the entire people of Kogi state.
He commended the Governor for his doggedness, steadfastness and determinations in the face of legal and political challenges that followed his election victory at the supreme Court.
He also applauds the Governor’s dedication and commitment to transforming the State through his various programmes and policies that have a direct impact on kogites.
While reassuring Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of his unflinching support, promised to work closely with him towards ensuring that all the Government programmes and policies are implemented for the benefit of the people Kogi State.
The supreme Court verdict he said is a validation of the wishes of the good people of Kogi State, who overwhelmingly voted for him in the last gubernatorial election.
Acknowledging the Governor’s giant strides towards the progress of the state, Hon Urah John Ikani urged the Governor to continue with his good works and remain focused towards delivering the dividends of democracy to the people.
