The Okun Development Association (ODA) has expressed its condolence to the Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi over the death of his beloved wife, Olori Marie Owoniyi.
This is contained in a statement by Amb Akenson Rotimi, President General of ODA, said the death of the Olori has created a vacuum too difficult to fill.
“On behalf of the Okun Development Association National Executive Council and Okun people worldwide, we offer our heartfelt condolences to His Royal Majesty Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, The Obaro of Kabba and the Chairman of Okun Traditional Council, the Kabba community, and all Okun people on the passing of our beloved mother, Olori Marie Owoniyi.
“Her sudden passage leaves a void that will be difficult to fill, considering her invaluable roles as a mother, wife, and pillar of support for His Royal Majesty.
“While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in her remarkable legacy of public service, community impact, and selfless humanity. Her life was a testament to the truth that it’s not the length of life, but the depth of its impact.
“We pray for His Royal Majesty, the entire family, and the Okun people, asking for strength and solace during this difficult time. May her memory continue to inspire us all.
