Dignitaries on Friday stormed Ayetoro Gbede, headquarters of Gbede Kingdom to pay their last respect to the Late Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Grassroots Mobilization, Hon. Aboyede Ola Odofin Bello.
The entire Community was shutdown as top Government Functionaries, and Political Associates joined Family and Friends of the Late grassroots politician as his remains were committed to mother earth.
Late Hon. Aboyede Ola Odofin Bello passed away on the 8th of March after a brief illness at the age of 64.
Among dignitaries at the Burial include; Arc. Salman Idris, member representing Kabba-Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency, Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Relations, Hon. Sunday Faleke, Kogi State Auditor General for Local Government, Dr. Yakubu Adabenege Siyaka, Hon. Toufiq Isah, Director General of Utility Infrastructure and Management Compliance Agency.

Others are, State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Engr. Ezzu-Momoh, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba, Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa and Managing Director of THISDAY Newspapers, Mr. Eniola Bello among others.
At Saint Peter’s Anglican Church Ayetoro Gbede, where the Burial Service was held, a Guest Speaker, Ven. Blessing Oloruntoba reminded the congregation in his sermon that they should be mindful of death and exhibit good deeds.
Ven. Oloruntoba noted that everything on earth is temporary, pointed out that life achievements are limited, hence the need to lay good treasures in heaven.
He extended his Condolence to the family of the deceased and the people of Ayetoro Gbede, saying his demise has created a vacuum in the Church.
While praying God to grant him eternal rest, the Clergyman prayed God to grant Hon. Aboyede Ola Odofin Bello eternal rest in paradise.
At the reception, the State Local Government Auditor General, Hon. Siyaka Yakubu Adabenege extended the Condolence of the government and people of Kogi State to the immediate family of the deceased, Ayetoro Gbede Community, Ijumu Local Government and his Political Associates, praying God to console them.
He used the opportunity to remind Political Office Holders to use their offices to impact the lives of the people as Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has given them the opportunity to make impact.
The Chairman of the Burial Committee, Pastor Dayo Akanmode described Late Hon. Aboyede Ola Odofin Bello as a Friend and Community Leader, who will be greatly missed.
Pastor Akanmode also expressed gratitude to the all those who supported the Burial and prayed God to reward them.
Speaking on behalf of the family, the son of the Late SSA, Christian Bello, who was recently appointed to replace his father, extended the gratitude of the family to all that supported them with donations, praying God to reward them.
Christian Bello promised to uphold the legacies of his father in honesty, dedication and hard work.
