The National President of Iyara Development Association (IDA), Alh. Aliyu Badaki has congratulated his fellow Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, a festival that commemorates the end of Ramadan fast.
Alh. Badaki in a congratulatory message he personally signed, expressed appreciation to Allah for the successful Ramadan fast, saying the period has been refreshing and a time for sober reflection.
He emphasized the need to imbibe the lessons of humility, Love, obedience and piety that the fast represents.
Alh. Badaki, who is the 1st Deputy President of Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN), also stressed the need for Muslims to live in peace with their neighbours as Islam is a religion of peace.
He urged all Muslim Faithfuls to give to the needy at this time and pray for an end to the current security challenges facing the nation, describing prayer as a tool for National peace and development.
He felicitated with Muslims in Iyara Community, Ijumu Local Government, Kogi State and Nigeria at large on the auspicious occasion.
