Eid el Kabir: Chief Omofaiye Congratulates Muslims, Harps on Sacrificial Giving

Kogi State Environment Commissioner, Chief Victor Adewale Omofaiye has congratulated Muslims for witnessing another Eid el Kabir celebration.

The Commissioner in a congratulatory message said “As our Muslim brothers and Sisters celebrates Eid el Kabir today, I, Hon Victor Adewale Omofaiye, Kogi State Hon. Commissioner for Environment on behalf of my family wish to felicitate with them on the Occasion.”

He urged Muslims across the state and Nigeria as a whole to celebrate with moderation while also extending hands of fellowship as exemplified by the Holy Prophet.

I also want to call on them to learn from the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim as commanded by God.

“Let us to utilize this festival to pray God to grant the leaders at the state and Federal levels the wisdom to do more in the Area of security and progress we are all yearning for.”

Chief Omofaiye also used the occasion to congratulate the State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his amiable family, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharmacist Jamiu Asuku and my colleagues in the Exco and well as members of the State Assembly.
