Ekiti Govt. Taskforce Seals Off Filling Station Selling Above Pump Price

The Ekiti State Petroleum Intervention Taskforce committee has sealed off a filling Station in Ado Ekiti for selling Premium Motor Spirit also known as petrol above control price of ₦270.

 

The Chairman of the Team Mr Israel Adesokan while speaking with Newsmen said that despite series of meetings with the marketers the management of the filling station violated the state government order by selling products at the rate of ₦290 per litre hence the action.

 

He noted that government would not compromise its promises at ensuring that Ekiti People access hitch free buying of Fuel at normal rate during the yuletide.

 

Mr Adesokan warned other oil marketers to desist from selling above ₦270 per litre in Ekiti saying that the taskforce team would be on ground to monitor them during the festive Holidays so as to ensure that they didn’t suffer the people.
