Elder Mejabi Bags Lifetime Achievement Award at 2025 Ekinrin-Adde Cultural Festival
Elder Mike Ekundayo Mejabi, has been named a recipient of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 edition of the Ekinrin-Adde Cultural Festival.
The lifetime Achievement Award is a recognition reserved for illustrious sons and daughters of the land who have made significant contributions both in public and community service.
Elder Mike Ekundayo Mejabi was born on August 14, 1964, to the family of Pa Moses Ampitan Mejabi Obando and Madam Rodah Titi Remilekun, both of blessed memories.
He began his early education at KD Primary School, Ekinrin-Adde, and went on to Government Secondary School, Iyamoye, where he served as Deputy Head Boy in the 1983/84 academic year. He attended different schools and got numerous qualifications. The schools he attended include;
Kaduna Polytechnic where he got his Diploma in 1987. Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, MBA in Marketing, 2002. Elder Mejabi is a respected procurement professional and holds memberships with several prestigious bodies:
He is a Member, Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS), London. Member, Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN). Member, Chartered Institute of Management (MCIM).
Over the years, he has held several strategic positions in the Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association (EACDA), including;
Financial Secretary, Lagos Branch (,11 years). Chairman, Lagos Branch (4 years). 1st Vice National President (4 years). National President (2 years).Member, EACDA Constitution Review Committee, 2022. Member, National President Advisory Committee, 2025 and so on.
As a man of integrity and strong interpersonal skills, Elder Mejabi is known for his ability to build consensus and drive results. After an impactful 30-year career, he retired in 2019 from Corona Schools Trust Council where he served as Head of Administration. Since retirement, he has remained active in the private sector and community initiatives.
He is happily married and blessed with children.
