Ex SUBEB Boss, Hon. Oshatimehin Congratulates Gov. Ododo on Apex Court Triumph, Kogi At 33

The Former Executive Chairman of Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Hon. Deborah Alaba Oshatimehin has congratulated the State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on the verdict of the Supreme court which upheld the ruling of the Appeal Court which affirmed his victory at the November 11th Governorship election in the State.

 

Hon. Oshatimehin also felicitated with the Governor on the 33rd Anniversary of the creation of the State.

 

In a statement she personally signed and made available to Journalists in Lokoja, said the Victory has finally laid to rest all Legal battles causing distractions to the focused and humble Governor.

 

 

The Educationist and former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Teaching Regulations said the victory did not come to her as a surprise as the progressive minded people of Kogi State voted overwhelmingly for the party in the last Gubernatorial Election.

 

 

She described the verdict as a victory for democracy, saying with the judgement has again reaffirm judiciary as the last hope of the common man.

 

 

“On behalf of my family, I want to heartily Congratulate our result oriented Governor, His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo following the Apex Court that upheld his election.

 

 

She expressed satisfaction with the remarkable achievements of the Governor since he assumed office, describing it as eventful.

 

Hon. Oshatimehin urged the SDP Governorship Candidate to accept the outcome of the election and Apex Court judgement in good faith and with the spirit of sportsmanship.

 

She prayed God to grant the Governor the needed good health and wisdom to enable him achieve his dreams for the people of the State.
