The father of Kogi State Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi is dead.
Aged, 95, Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi died on Sunday after a brief illness.
“This is to formally announce the passing of Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi, the beloved father of the Honorable Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning of Kogi State. He departed this world at the age of 95 after a brief illness.
According to a Statement by the Finance Commissioner, Asiwaju Idris Asiru, “The burial will take place tomorrow, 22nd September 2025, at 2 PM in Isanlu, Yagba East LGA Kogi State in accordance with Islamic rites.
May Allah forgive him and admit him into aljanat firdaus. Amin
