Former Kogi Environment Commissioner, Chief Omofaiye Applauds Gov. Ododo’s Tribunal Victory

The immediate past Kogi State Commissioner for Environment, Chief Victor Adewale Omofaiye has joined well meaning Nigerians to celebrate State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on the verdict of the Gubernatorial Election Tribunal in Abuja which upheld his victory at the November 11th Governorship election in the State.

Chief Omofaiye made the remark while reacting to the judgement in a statement he personally signed and made available to Journalists in Lokoja.

The former Commissioner said the victory which is well deserved, did not come to him as a surprise, saying the people of Kogi State voted overwhelmingly for the party in the last Gubernatorial Election.

According to him, the verdict is a victory for democracy, noting that the judgement has again reaffirm judiciary as the last hope of the common man.

His Excellency, on behalf of my family, I heartily congratulate you sir, our amiable result oriented Governor, His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo following the judgement of the Kogi State Governorship Election Tribunal to upheld his election.

He expressed delight with the remarkable achievements of Governor Ododo since he assumed office, describing his choice for the State as divine.

Chief Omofaiye urged the SDP Governorship Candidate to accept the outcome of the election and Tribunal judgement in good faith and with the spirit of sportsmanship.

He fervently prayed God to grant the Governor the needed good health and wisdom to enable him achieve his dreams for the people of the State.
