Former Kogi LG Auditor General Picks APC Guber Ticket

The APC National Committee for Kogi State Governorship Primary election, 2023 has declared Ahmed Usman Ododo winner of the election.

Declaring the result of the Primaries on behalf of Chairman of the Committee and Governor of Zamfara state, Secretary of the Committee, Honourable Patrick Obahiagbon said Ahmed Ododo scored 78,704 votes to defeat six other contestants in the April 14 exercise.

He said the declaration was in accordance with Article 19 of the APC guidelines for the nomination of candidates for general election.

Mr Obahiagbon explained that haven won the majority of lawful votes in the primaries, Usman Ododo is returned as the APC candidate for the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State.
